Even When No One is Reading, That’s No Reason Not to Write.

When I first had the idea to write my life story, it was December 1974. I was ten years old and my sister Melissa had given me a journal for Christmas, the cover of which is pictured above. Hello World, It’s Me struck a chord deep inside, and I knew that was going to be the title of my best selling novel.

No doubt my life was going to be filled with adventure, romance and the stuff that makes movie producers line up to buy the rights. With pen in hand, I jumped “write” in to chronicle my uniqueness.

How could I ever have known back in ’74 that my book would take the form of a blog instead. Now that I will be turning 50 in 2014, I figured it was time to start in earnest. And as far as a best seller, I have concluded that just because no one might ever read this, that should not be a reason to not write it.
